Jerry began his career as an energy analyst at Harris Bancorp in 1979.
In 1981, he joined Kemper Financial as an industry analyst. In 1984, he was named portfolio manager for the Blue Chip and Small Cap Growth Funds.
In 1989 he joined Loomis, Sayles as a Large Cap Growth portfolio manager. In 1994 he was named Managing Partner of the Chicago office and was added to the company’s Board of Directors.
Jerry left Loomis Sayles in 1999 to form CastleArk Management LLC, an institutional growth stock and energy fund investment company. In his role as Chief Investment Officer, Jerry is part of the large cap growth and energy teams.
He appears frequently on CNBC and other financial media venues. Jerry serves on the Finance Council of the Chicago Archdiocese and the University of Notre Dame’s Arts and Letters Council.
